Bold and formal, Rick Bay melds the California coastal with European editorial. He enjoys filtering individual and brand stories through the lens of his camera, and distilling unique, compelling, beautiful, and engaging imagery. Rick is most known for his cinematic lighting and precise framing.

Born in the blue Rocky Mountains of Colorado and raised in the shady Silicon Valley of California, Rick grew up with a camera in his hands. After high school, he attended the University of Colorado, Boulder where he earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Film and Cinema Production. He now shoots out of Los Angeles, where he lives with his wife.

Rick enjoys farmer’s markets, shady parks, sunny pools, and the occasional negroni.
